DLW Linoleum has won multiple design awards. Recently, the DLW Linoleum Collection and Lino Art have been the recipients of numerous awards.

The red dot award: product design has been one of the largest and most renowned design competitions in the world since its
inception in 1955 by the Nordrhein Westfalen Design Center. The main criteria for the international jury of experts are the
degree of innovation and functionality, durability and eco-friendliness. The DLW Linoleum Collection was recognized in 2009.

iF communication design award in 2010 for Lino Art Leporello
The iF communication design award is an international design competition for communication design, which includes everything
from printed brochures to trade show exhibitions to GUIs. This creative competition recognizes outstanding design. Since 1953,
the iF label has been synonymous with outstanding design, professionalism and design quality. The awards are given out by
an international panel of experts. In 2010, Armstrong received the award in ‘print media – promotion’ for its exclusive Leporello
product in its DLW Linoleum Lino Art Collection.
AIT Architecture and Flooring Innovation Award for Lino Art Alumino in 2010 –for Uni Walton in 2009
The architectural periodicals AIT and xia give out the AIT Architecture and Flooring Innovation Award to solutions, which
in large measure reflect the requirements and wishes of architects. Functional and artistic quality, realism of the materials
and range of applications are all decisive criteria. In 2010, they recognized Lino Art Alumino, commending Armstrong for its “careful refinement of a flooring classic that maintains its integrity”. DLW Linoleum Uni Walton received the award in 2009.

At the international competition, which takes place during the CeBIT tradeshow in Hannover, consumers recognize products,
architecture and services that improve the quality of life for the greatest number of people. In the ‘Home’ category, DLW
linoleum won the coveted Consumer Award in 2009.
DLW Linoleum was nominated for the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2010, 2008, 2007 and 2006
The Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany is the highest official German award in the area of design. It is known
as ‘the award of all awards’ because no other design award places such high standards on its submissions. Products can only
be submitted if they have already received another award. They must also be nominated by the economics ministries and senators
of the federal states or the Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology. DLW Linoleum was nominated in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010.

The iF product design award is a multi-faceted competition encompassing all areas of product design. It provides design related
innovations a platform to be recognized taking their international appeal and the dynamics of the present into account. Since
1953, the iF product design award has been the hallmark of good design. In 2006, the DLW Linoleum collection received this
highly prized award.
